GRASS FED J-LAND BEEF

Our beef is purchased as calves from a few wonderful nearby farmers shorty after weaning. They are born on grass pastures and are nurtured by mothers who are on grass and hay during this time. It takes over a year after weaning for the calves to grow to their finish weight of approximately 1,100 lbs. This is due to the fact that they consume only organic pasture during the summers and non GMO hay and small amounts of organic corn screenings in the winter months as well as year round access to sea kelp powder.

J-Land Beef is available in three package sizes: Quarters, Halves, and Whole.

Our beef is priced per hanging pound (as the beef hangs in the cooler prior to cutting and wrapping)

Quarter:  $4.00/lb hanging weight

Halve:  $4.00/lb hanging weight

​

Whole:  $3.75/lb hanging weight

​
